Everything that happens at National Woodlands — new sites, restoration milestones, community events, education programmes and organisational updates.
NATIONAL WOODLANDS ORG CIC (Company No. 17283831) is formally registered and operational. Our Community Interest Company structure means our work is legally required to deliver community benefit — and any surplus generated must be reinvested in land and woodland restoration.
We are now actively identifying our first sites, building our network of landowner, council and community relationships, and preparing to receive referrals of neglected land from across England and Wales.
If you know of land that could benefit from our involvement, or if you would like to discuss how to support our work, please get in touch.
Contact usOur team has begun the careful process of investigating potential first sites for restoration. We are researching land records, assessing ecological potential, and beginning the stakeholder engagement process that precedes any site work.
We will share updates on each site as it progresses through our process.
About our processWe are building our volunteer community now, in preparation for our first sites becoming available for practical work. Site Guardian roles are particularly important — these are people who will become a regular presence at a local site and its community ambassadors.
Volunteer with usWe are actively seeking introductions with local authorities, parish councils and public bodies who have green space, open land or community asset challenges we may be able to help with.
